Legacy’s horses can display one of three leg feathering types, no-feathering, light feathering, and heavy feathering. Of course, like everything in Legacy, feathering is controlled by genetics. There are two genes that control feathering in game.
Feathering is limited to only specific body types in imported foundation stock. These include, light, pony, cob, stock, baraque and draft. Of course, you can always outcross to produce feathering for the other body types.
